After a successful reunion of the original State Of Origin 1980 teams, was the major topic of conversation that the FOGS concept should be started. The feedback of the day was so great the idea of forming the QLD FOGS took place and the result was the FOGS was born.

The idea of forming this group of former Origin players was discussed also between all the NSW players and they unanimously voted in forming the NSW FOGS. It is with great pleasure that the NSW FOGS is available to all former NSW players and coaches who represented the Blues in Rugby Leagues toughest arena.

Vision

Our aims are simple, but we believe they are for the betterment of the game.

~ Keeping former players involved with Rugby League.
~ Organising reunions to keep players in touch.
~ Corporate golf days & luncheons to raise money for charity and the NSW FOGS.

We believe that the NSW FOGS will help promote the NSW Rugby League and help build it's profile to an even greater level. With this in mind, an additional aim of the NSW FOGS is for the future development of Junior Rugby League and help develop player welfare in the way of better education.

For those who don't see a lot of each other this is also your chance to catch up with former team mates and renew old times and help make a difference to people who need assistance in times of crisis and we encourage all of the former players and coaches to register with NSW FOGS.

Please note there is no registration fee, each player will be given a membership number in the order of your State Of Origin appearance.
